Bus Routes

School bus registration is now open for the 2024-2025 school year. All families who choose school bus transportation, whether no-fee or fee-based, must register and pay (if applicable) by May 19, 2025.

Incoming Kindergarten students through Grade 6 living two or more miles from their districted schools are eligible to receive no-fee transportation. Incoming Kindergarten students through grade 6 living less than two miles from their districted schools are eligible for fee-based transportation, dependent on seat availability.

ALL RISING 7th AND 8th GRADE STUDENTS MUST REGISTER AND PAY FOR TRANSPORTATION REGARDLESS OF DISTANCE TO SCHOOL.

Transportation fees for the 2025-2026 school year are:

  • First student: $420
  • Family cap: $765
  • Late fee: $75

Transportation registration is done through MySchoolBucks.com. If you have not already created an account on MySchoolBucks for school lunch, you will need to do so and register for transportation. If you need help creating an account in MySchoolBucks, please see their Support Page.  MySchoolBucks ID for registration can be found in Aspen under the Family/Demographics tab. Transportation fees can be paid online through MySchoolBucks.com with a credit or debit card. MySchoolBucks charges a processing fee of 4.95% assessed at check-out and is noted in the program fee line. You may also pay by check, choose “I will mail a check” under Options at registration, then mail a check payable to “Town of Sudbury” to:

Sudbury Public Schools
Transportation Department
40 Fairbank Road
Sudbury, MA 01776

Envelopes with payments must be postmarked on or before May 19, 2025, to avoid an additional $75 late fee.

Financial assistance is available for eligible families.  Please let us know when you register that you would like to apply for financial assistance.  Paperwork will be sent to you after July 1, 2025.  You will not be charged any late fees.

Late registration is subject to the availability of space regardless of no-fee or fee-based status. Bus routes and bus stops are based on registrations and payments received by the May 19, 2025, deadline. Bus passes will be issued by the end of August 2025. For the safety of all, student riders will be asked and must present bus passes to drivers before boarding.
